Primrose Property Ghana Limited’s core eam members include Charles Adu Boahen, Chris Adu Boahen and Emmanuel Selorm Adukpo. This article briefly introduces these gentlemen.
Charles Adu Boahen
Charles has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is currently pursuing a Project Management Certification by the Project Management Institute.
After college, Charles joined the Investment Banking division at Salomon Smith Barney on Wall Street. His responsibilities included corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions primarily in the Chemicals and Engineering sector. After business school, Charles joined the $400mm AIG African Infrastructure Fund as an Investment Officer, where he was tasked with finding, analyzing and structuring private equity investments in companies doing business in Africa.
Charles was with JP Morgan for over 5 years as Vice President and Head of Investment Banking for Sub-Saharan Africa where he was responsible for developing the Investment banking business across sub-Saharan Africa excluding South Africa and was the Nigeria Senior Country Representative.
Prior to founding Primrose Properties, Charles was a Director and Regional Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for Standard Bank of South Africa.

Chris Adu Boahen
Chris has a MBA, with honors, in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering form the University of Science and Technology, Ghana. In addition, Chris has completed BAT’s Global Challenge Initiative Training Program, which is a 2-year structured on-the-job management-training program for nurturing managerial competence in-house, with a strong focus on cross-functional training.
Chris has several years of business experience on the African continent. Mr. Boahen worked as a consultant in the South African office of McKinsey & Co., with a focus on the E-commerce space. Prior to joining McKinsey, Chris managed the manufacturing department of British American Tobacco (“BAT”) in Takoradi, Ghana.
Prior to joining Primrose Properties Ghana, Chris was Managing Partner of the Exodus Advisory Group, a Washington DC based financial advisory firm focused on identifying and packaging investment opportunities in Africa and the Caribbean for global investors. At Exodus Chris developed comprehensive business plans and raised funding for a quarry, clothing company and software developer among others. Prior to that, Chris worked as a consultant in the Washington, D.C office of the Boston Consulting Group (“BCG”), focusing primarily on the Telecommunications industry. At BCG, Chris conducted business strength and strategy analyses of a variety of telecommunication industry groups.
Emmanuel Selorm Adukpo
Selorm holds a BSc. (Building Tech.) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi with 1st Class Honours where he was engaged as Teaching Assistant after graduation for a period of one year handling Theory of Structures and Structural Design at the Undergraduate level.
During his National Service period and beyond, Selorm worked with Wilkado Construction Works in Kumasi as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. He was involved in Quantity Surveying duties for Wilkado projects, which ranged from Multi-storey Hostel Blocks, Museums, Lecture Halls and more.
Selorm later joined Penta Built Ltd, a Design and Build Construction Company based in Accra as their Quantity Surveyor. Projects successfully executed as a Quantity Surveyor / Site Manager include a Warehouse and Factory Building for Sintex Containers, Finishing Sub-Contract works at the new Russian Embassy among others. Selorm then proceeded to join Procurement and Project Management Consultancy Ltd (PPMC) where his responsibilities included the preparation of documents for the expression of interest for consultancy services, preparation of tender documents, certificate preparation, cost planning and others.
Selorm joined Primrose Properties in 2008 and manages the Real Estate department.
As you can see each of these gentlemen offer valuable and varied skill sets contributing to the success of Primrose Properties.
